December is going to be a busy month for me, since I have tests and assignments up until the 26th (I know, kill me), and then exams in January. Considering I’ll have to study a lot, I don’t think I’ll have a lot of time to read the things I want to read, which is a bummer.
However, I still want to read a few books, and I’m still setting a TBR. School can kiss my ass 😀 I will mostly focus on books I’ve started but have yet to finish, so I can sort of start 2018 fresh.
Let’s get right to it…
The Dinner by Herman Koch
I started this book last week and I really love it so far. It’s very addicting and intriguing, but since I haven’t had much time, I still haven’t finished it 🙁
It’s a thriller that focuses on family drama, basically, and it’s very good. If you’re anything like me, you’ll want to read it in one sitting!
Medea by Euripides
This is a required read for my Greek culture class. It tells the story of Medea, who kills her own children as revenge against her husband, who left her for another woman.
I know, Euripides sounds like a lovely author who loves and respects women 😀 Actually, fun fact: rumor has it Euripides hated women because he found his wife in bed with a slave (don’t quote me on that, though, I did say it was a rumor)
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling
I’ve been reading this book for way too long, and I need to get on with it.
I absolutely love this series, it’s what my childhood was all about, and I seriously regret not reading the books earlier.
Her Every Fear by Peter Swanson
This will be a read-along with a booktube friend
of mine, Dora. You can check her channel out here.
She’s a big fan of The Kind Worth Killing by the same author, and we decided to give this one a try together. I really hope this one is as good as people have been saying, I’m super excited to read it!!
Alright y’all, those are all of the books I REALLY want to read/finish this month. I hope I can get to all of them *fingers crossed*
What books are on your TBR for December? Let me know in the comments below!
Thank you for reading,
I’ll see you in my next post ♡
